Could more have been done with this film? Yes. Yet that doesn’t take away the fact I adore this film. Stan Winston, the absolute genius you are with practical effects. I love how you can understand where everyone in this film is coming from, I truly do not think there is a 1/2

this is a nostalgic loved movie for me. I saw it in theaters. the effects don't really hold up now, but the story does.
