this film was just very uneventful. for me, older horror movies (<1960) are far less enjoyable than modern horror movies.

The twist was pretty good. Some of the killing scenes were terribly not realistic looking. I enjoyed the characters though, and Norman Bates was creepy. Throughout the movie, you knew there was something off about him. The acting by Perkins was 🔥

It’s horror month and I’m in a horror mood so I’m watching horror classics starting with this now while I feel they drag it out a bit to long I have no flaws a perfect movie most watch 10/10 MASTERPIECE

Coming at this from a modern lens, you can see the twist coming. However, it is still a masterclass in its own right. Good suspense, and keeps you watching to see what happens. 8.5/10

Psycho comes nearer to attaining an exhilarating balance between content and style than anything Hitchcock has done in years. Of course, it is a very minor work. But its virtues of tension, surprise, virtuosity and control are all major ones.

I know it’s old, but even I could’ve done those stunts more realistically. And let’s not forget that they put a wig on a freaking skeleton. Other than that I enjoyed it. It was actually entertaining.

Despite knowing the twist before there are moments of genuine creepiness & fear, though it isn’t the scariest nowadays. I’m also surprised at how the performances & cinematography hold up with a couple of exceptions & some unique shots that I love in this. It is a little boring…
