I could not tell the difference between Kim’s brother and her boyfriend…there’s gotta be some Freudian psychosis there…

Great campy vibes. It had amazingly funny fight scenes. Overall, really slow and a lot of sexual scenes that were super drawn out. The fact Drew didn’t die. Drew #1 OPP.

Overly predictable and terribly misrepresented from promotional material. Yes, JLC is the queen of all scream queens, but this is the worst installment of her horror catalogue. Very disappointing.

Murderous grudges against 12-year olds, black people that remain hidden until it’s time to bust a move in a disco themed prom, slashing that doesn’t start until the end of the movie, an UNNECESSARILY good dance sequence, and classic 80’s misogyny… coulda been worse and better lol

Best way I can think to describe it is that it was a mix between Halloween and I Know What You Did Last Summer but very cheesy and bad.

the groovy music playing throughout most of the movie was a nice touch like imagine getting chased down by a killer while I Will Survive is playing in the background?! /j. the dancing scene was the best part

I got the movie spoiled for me on YouTube but I feel like without that spoiler I would have seen the killer reveal at the end and be like: who’s that? A few plot holes, and unanswered questions. Younger Jamie Lee Curtis, and Leslie Neilson (mainly why I watched) 4.5/10

It was very dark and grainy so it made it hard to see. The story took forever to get to the killing and then it felt very rushed to end. Th dancing scenes were super fun though.

Ik I might get hate for this but this film was just kind of boring to me. Ik it’s a cult movie but idrc abt its status, it isn’t that great

wendy’s prom dress was so TEAAAA

incredibly slow and boring. unnecessary long dancing number. twist that is created entirely to shock (without much plot support) then it immediately ends. takes over half the movie to even get to prom night, the titular event where all the action happens.

this was very slow. which is kind of typical of older horror but is not my vibe. i dont know, this was just kind of whatever to me

Ngl was disappointed with this one felt like it was going anywhere until the end but I just didn’t care about the characters. Didn’t grab my attention I think my hopes were too high

Okay, so I definitely rated this too highly before because this shit doesn't have enough juice for a slasher. The opening is the best part, and I still have a good time watching, but you have to do more than that, man.
