One of my favourite movies! I love how the man was portrayed as someone with no prejudices and had a certain respect for prostitutes, it was different and refreshing in a way. I loved that while being a prostitute Vivianne still had this sense of respect and female empowerment.

The epitome of perfect relationship as every guy should see this as that is how you treat a girl. The casting is spot on the acting feels so raw and real not to mention the fact it’s incredibly well paced. Perfect date night movie ( if only I had a date 😭 ) Overall 8.9/10

Can’t believe out of the 30yrs of my life, I’m just now seeing this movie. Now I see why this is a classic and a favorite for all. Please Hollywood do not remake this movie, this is the only version I care to watch again.

A hooker with a heart of gold softens the heart of a cold blooded business man. It’s a classic setup which reminds me of 50s&60s Hepburn romances and while it’s not tackled with the grace of Hepburn, or is even a particularly good film, it has its own unique charm. 6/10

Some parts I really liked and made me laugh and some parts I was a little bored (like the business stuff). It ran slightly long. But I enjoyed the romance & think they had good chemistry. I love Julia Roberts. I liked the ending.

I feel like this is @gcarv and @tiptoptommy if they met in the 90s

few male celebrities can encapsulate the essence of the charming version of 80’s masculinity like harrison ford, tom selleck, JFK jr. and of course richard gere. julia roberts finds a way to play a lovable prostitute which is hard to pull off in the misogynistic 90’s.
