as if we needed further proof that no one else but trachtenberg should touch this franchise ever again .. we got more

maybe the best cgi we’ve got in a while, great world building and great chemistry between elle and dek, thumping action and some laughs too, a worthy addition

Great story and love the little bits of comedy. Definitely worth a watch. I watched it in 4DX and it was 10 times better. 9/10

Corny, cringey, goofy. Comedy was bad. Story was predictable. They were definitely taking this premise somewhere different and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Didn’t like the underdog story at all/humanisation. This was not a Predator movie and this is not what Predator is about

If someone asked me for a definition of sci-fi, I’d show them this movie. Cool technology, weapons, monsters, and planet.
Although I thought the storyline was decent, it seemed rushed and lacked any emotional weight. But it was still fun, had some action, and looked awesome

From concept to execution this was nothing short of miraculous. An entertaining, highly engaging story that reminded me of Prey which is an energy that was pleasing to experience again. The prosthetic and effects used here could not be talked up enough, purely magical to see the finished product and have it be a truly great result. This also managed to do the whole connected universe thing in a very exciting way, ultimately adding way more to the experience than initially thought. Overall, this was pure action, it worked, and it was exhilarating. The buddy cop we didn’t know we needed. 4.5/5

as a true predator fan, i can confidently say this is another masterpiece from mr trachtenberg.

no one but trachtenberg should touch this franchise. not only did he exceed expectations with prey but now badlands. this is just another example of why he’s the best to ever direct a predator film.

he understands the lore.

the thing that absolutely blew me away was the spectacular world building of planet genna.

witnessing all the creatures that roam genna, and how deadly every single one is… bonkers.

phenomenal action sequences, outdid prey imo.

the cinematography is outrageously good.

easily the best vfx i’ve ever seen on the big screen. sits right next to avatar.

witnessing the kalisk for the first time…. i was fucking terrified and geeked out all at the same time.

dek & thia are an incredible duo.

can’t forget about the adorable baby kalisk. bro was so lovable. him mocking dek absolutely took me out. lmaoo

everything about this film was spectacular.

will most certainly rewatch because i enjoyed this so fucking much.

the creativity in this truly amazes me, and that’s why im so addicted to prey and now badlands.

best film in the franchise, then prey, and ofc the classic with arnold.

a must watch if you’re a predator fan or want to become one. this is as good as it gets.

makes me truly happy how well it’s doing in box office :)

can’t wait to see where trachtenberg takes us to next.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this absolutely delivered. This is very different than anything we have seen in the Predator franchise and it worked so well. The action is top notch. The characters are interesting, the story was engaging. Loved it.

Freakin awesome, this gave me everything I wanted from a Predator film; incredible visuals, inventive creature and world design, and dynamic action. On top of that the story is relatively simple but executed very well, with amazing payoff for each element of it

I haven’t watched all the predator movies yet but I’ve watched a few and I did really like this one. I had a fun time, I grew to like dek, and the characters. Storyline was intriguing too. Some parts a little predictable, but it was very fun to watch. Would watch again 🪲

Oh this ate SOOO bad. The Alien franchise incorporation to show that this they are apart of the same universe even if it’s not an AVP project was so perfect. And it was SO cute and heartwarming and kind-spirited. I just love how dynamic the predator movies can be story-wise.
