I get it. Lots of symbolism. Several ways to interpret the film. Dark psychosis and imagery.

Personally I found it boring. I also don’t get why it’s on some peoples disturbing lists. I mean I can hazard a guess but I was bored. Not saying it’s bad. Just not for me. Maybe you.

I was not expecting it to be like THAT.. but I loved it. The atmosphere, the music, actors, it was good. It didn’t had much words but it was so emotional it was more then enough that way. Not much actually scared but more under pressure from the vibes and storyline of it, great..

crazy suspense building, the puppet was horrifying and everything made you feel isolated and afraid, really artistic and confusing at some points but i think it was effective for the most part

rewatched it, alot better than what i remember. possum can catch these hands tho

I really wanted to like this movie yk, cause of the horror TikTok girlie’s hearsay about the deep meaning and symbolism and whateva, but I guess I’m an apathetic asswipe cause this was borrrrinnggggggg. It’s literally the same thing over and over for the first hour: Puppet gone😓, puppet come back😨, Maurice is a weirdo old man☹️(and that is the exact face Phillip makes no exaggeration there), and repeat. Also that thing is NAWT a possum, let me tell you. I fw the atmosphere and the weird artsy symbolic shots heavy though. Moreover, the design and animation of possum are so well done and disgusting and I hate it get it away ew. I can appreciate a quality movie but I think I just wasn’t in the mood for whatever this was, also I wasn’t paying complete attention. I had physics homework ok so like I’m a busy man get off my back alright.

Euhhhgg I wrote that before I watched the last like 10 minutes and let me say Jesus Christ that made me want to throw up. But I think that ending made it way more worth it to watch. All of the film leading up to then, you have to speculate about the meaning and the backstories, and then, they kind of just throw it all at you at the climax in a way that is so unsettling and jarring (especially if you were kinda zoning out sorry😭I’m a terrible film critic), and imo matches the overall tone of the whole movie so well.

So, the atmosphere was really good, and the acting was phenomenal, but... it was painfully boring. The meaning behind it really is quite interesting, but I just can't give it a higher score when it feels as if it ran for double the time due to how boring it was.

So gross. Everything builds towards the end and it fricken pays off.

I didn’t get it

There were some creepy scenes, and it’s artistically shot, but this wasn’t for me.

So disturbing, the bleak atmosphere adds to the character and the story really well. Very sad and very sickening.

Can you spy it deep within, a little possum black as sin

extremely convoluted and doesn’t really deliver well at the end

Everyone hyped this movie up so bad. Watched it for the first time and did not see the hype.
