Poetic Justice Reviews

It’s great black cinema!! Love Tupac and Janet!!! It’s just not high in my list of black cinema 🤷🏾‍♀️ so many more great movies!! But this is a must watch for sure

a beautiful film and a black classic❤️

This was a good movie. It entertained me certainly and even tho I’m not rly into such movie genre, this movie was a well exception. It’s a well directed movie that kept my attention. Even tho I expected a bad ending tho, would watch again :)

definitely a 90s film but honestly really good.

classic enemies —> lovers trope

2Pac Shakur ⭐️ Great movie love the old school vibe , the sweet passive rude romance was comedic to me

Gritty, yet tender exploration of love and growth, punctuated by Maya Angelou's powerful poetry. Captures the rawness of inner-city life and the beauty that can emerge from pain. Definitely worth a watch if you’re in the mood for something moving !

It was nice :) I enjoy watching movies about black love. 7/10 might watch again.

If they don’t make you feel how this movie makes you feel . They ain’t for you

It was a really good movie

Love

Love it!

I have been sitting on this movie for like five years. I’m not even gonna lie but oh my gosh it was so good. The characters are really well written. I think that’s mostly what drives the story for me at least 10 out of 10.

Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur are magnetic. Watching their slow-burn romance unfold against a raw, road-trip backdrop is pure '90s magic. It's a soulful meditation on grief and healing, anchored by the legendary words of Maya Angelou. A true cultural touchstone

5.5/10

this movie lowkey messy, but it’s got enough cute moments to balance it out. I listen to his music but never saw Tupac in a movie so i liked that as well. A black classic and a nice soundtrack too. 10/10
