i can see why this is nic cage’s favorite film he’s in, it’s such a simple premise that really shines through its character moments and themes, passion and integrity vs making money and societal expectations, isolating yourself from pain/truth, and the acting is just phenomenal

‘Pig’ dramatic thriller where you think it’s one thing going in and then becomes something else entirely. Although it does feature a truffle pig. This film is certainly not for everyone but it’s well-acted, unique, and has plenty of emotion.

“we don’t get a lot of things to really care about” such a great movie about loss and grief. i think it was actually so important that he doesn’t get the pig back or another one to try to replace her. loss is permanent. it changes you. and death is an immutable part of life

Somehow a dramatic cheesy love romantic movie without a romance and without it being cheesy. If you know what I mean (Probably only I do). Not bad.

wow. nicolas cage pls do more roles that fit you like this one. i never thought a nicolas cage movie would make me cry, but this has proven me wrong. although the plot is very simple, it is just enough to keep the viewer engaged through the whole movie. one of my favorites of '21

I like that Nick cage is taking more rules that he is interested in and this proves to me that’s a good thing because his performance is amazing. The story changes drastically so much that I got lost a couple times but if you like more artistic movies this is a must watch. 7.7/10

Totally not what I expected. The poster makes it look like a horror but its actually quite sad and beautiful.

A beautiful story of love and loss with an unexpected act by Cage. I’m bias cause I’ll like anything set in the PNW but narratively speaking it could have been more elevated. Regardless I think people will love this one.
