Phantom Thread

i actually rlly liked this movie it’s v slow but it’s more about the characters than any sort of storyline
it takes stereotypes of characters and molds them into something twisted
they also do a nice job of portraying obsession
cool cinematography, also daniel day lewis

beautifully lit and costumed, gorgeous gorgeous looking movie

I couldn’t get past that he sounds like Roger deakins.

My head cannon: Day-Lewis’s (great performance) character is gay, but is so obsessed with his work that he falls involve with his muse because she is the true embodiment of his true love (his work).

In my head that makes this film next level.

In reality it’s pretty good.
