Ethereal and grounded simultaneously, (don’t pay too much attention to the mystery and it works better) and Doc Sportello is an all-time PTA protagonist

If it wouldn’t have Joaquin it’d be a meh. Apart from that, the best word to describe this is tripping✌️

joaquin phoenix does detective work while incredibly baked

Probably PTA’s worst entry but no where near bad.

It’s just a little bit of everything and maybe a bit confusing but still, PTA and Joaquin are always a master duo.

Kinda long, but funny enough to make it worthwhile. Josh Brolin is a highlight here.
