Persepolis Reviews

Really great story and plot structure and is actually really similar to the book

I don’t like her as a person cause she’s standing on the wrong side of the history but watching this with the protests happening rn made me cry so much. Iranians truly deserve the best. FREE IRAN ❤️ JAVID SHAH.

A beautiful movie I think it’s a must watch, it’s a very informative movie about the Iranian revolution. And especially today it’s a very important movie to watch to understand Iranian people. I Stan Marjane. Free Iran

really touching, witty, intelligent movie. + a simple yet effective graphic style
we stan Marjane

More movies should be like this one. I want to know people’s real life stories in animated format

This one was so good, everyone should watch it

This was so good. A moving story and the aesthetic was very fitting.

Super film je l'avais vu ya 2/3 ans et le visuel, l'histoire et tout vraiment très beau

My beloved Iran

Está película realmente me encantó. Combina historia, emociones, drama. Para mí el blanco y negro representó el pasado el cual le daba un tono nostálgico, mientras que el color marcaba el presente. Nos habla sobre la identidad personal, libertad y crecer entre dos cultura.

Read the book but counts too

❤️

A very thought provoking social commentary, with an interesting art direction.

4/5

idk man

beautiful and tragic all at once

"Mi vida me pesa." What a complex story, so interesting, beautiful and sad. The life story of a migrant, you stop belonging anywhere, until you do again. A story of resilience, love and, most importantly, integrity. The animation is stunning.
