Although I will say the cinematography and color is beautiful, it’s mostly just three donkeys walking around for 15 minutes so there’s really not much to this.

I think we’re getting a little loose with the word documentary. This was 15 minutes of (admittedly stunning) b-roll. There are some really great shots, both beautiful and eerie, but there is no story, no thread. It’s just footage.

I sort of get what they were trying to do and I liked some of the cinematography but it just went too off the rails to really have any depth in the end. And how is this a documentary? It should be a short live action 🤷🏻‍♀️

I must not have gotten it because it was pretty boring. I like the juxtaposition something man-made being alone with nature, but there isn’t really anything moving this documentary along. I don’t even see how it’s a documentary. It’s just clips with donkeys and music. 2/10
