Perfect Blue

I have never been more uncomfortable or disturbed in my actual life. YES this movie is purely to spread awareness for mental illness I get it! But this movie was fucked and if you genuinely liked this please stay away from me 😭

Perfect blue is the perfect psychological horror, giving insights to the perils of being notable or famous. Being stalked and almost murdered to the point of seeing visions is mortifying and this movie gets that point across rather eloquently

Filing this under good movies I’d never want to watch again
Unexpectedly disturbing, there’s this oppressive atmosphere that permeates through the entire film, and fills you with paranoia leaving you questioning what’s real and what’s not.

I like to give things a try that I normally wouldn’t be into. I’m sure it’s a great film but I’m just not very into animation and specifically anime style- so I couldn’t really get through it.

the twist got me, really great movie. big grape with out the g sensitivity warning

5/10 - I don’t get why it’s so loved but I liked it, I need to watch a video explaining everything so I can get it more, but kind of just seems like an ok movie with a good second half with her being chased down the alley, and her starting to hallucinate. Other than it was ok
