phenomenal movie (liked this better than perfect blue) it’s so trippy and bizarre and the concept is very interesting. the story has a slow burn and so it’s a little tricky to put together at first.

from the first frame i was fully sold, tons of brilliant and wildly creative animation with a bold and fantastical narrative. the characters were well-realized and much was left up for interpretation. tons of visual variety with a fantastic score, never misses a beat

I am gonna need to research some japanese symbolism lmao.

Awesome animations, awesome themes, definitely not the easiest to follow, but definitely worth it.
