i was fucking with the beginning HARD like college them and the canada trip was so
fucking cute but the third part was kinda underwhelming .

if it was me and were grown btw. we’re both single and want each other. well fuck we’re boning like what took them so long. i understand that he values stability and that was something she wasn’t ready to adopt yet. but girl are you deadass. like just talk it out and she was real for wanting to take a sec before talking abt the entirety of their relationship.

his high school gf is so much better than me. cause wtf do you mean your girl best friend and you go on a vacation every single year together ALONE. mind you you don’t even take me on vacation.

canada was so cute and i loved the dancing scene. unfortunately he would’ve pulled me. i don’t even think that he’s bad. but he has a charm abt him. and i love a jokingly grouchy man. like he can have fun but he’s gonna pretend like he doesn’t want to first. and that’s real

I hated the book and the movie was just as bad

It's not a Netflix movie without a gay couple and wedding right...
If Poppy isn't the biggest red flag then J don't even know. The story was cool, I personally didn't like the back and forth, wish it was present, then all the past and the present again. It just fell short for me

i will give it a like, but it was actually a solid 8/10, this move feels like a cousin to the book, loved poppy’s character being portrayed liked this, emily excelled.

6/10, it was okay… I found myself just waiting for it to finally end, I probably wouldn’t watch it again.

Anyone who likes romcoms will enjoy this! Beautiful direction, cinematography, lighting, and wardrobe in addition to great performances by the two leads (Emily Bader does much of the heavy lifting, and she dazzles in every moment!)

What a shame we couldn’t see this in theaters!

Just another low budget, quickly made streaming film with mediocre writing, yet I enjoyed the story. Light hearted, adventurous, cute. I bet the book is very good. I think Emily Bader did a great job.
The ending was meh; if Alex really loved her why did he walk away? His bad.

little slower for me. felt myself dozing off. the on screen chemistry was good but slowwwww!

their chemistry is so good omg. love tom 🤭 I don’t really have anything to say tbh, I don’t really care for romance movies but this was pretty cute

Cute, the in the beginning was really good, especially the flash backs, although it felt like a lot was missing and I didn’t really get to know the character as well (needed the book trauma). I wish we spent more time with the current summer and their emotional relationship.

This should’ve been a series. I freaking loved it

The first 15 minutes made me cringe so bad I almost turned it off but then ended up liking it. I did read the book 2 years ago but forgot mostly everything about it
