Paranormal Activity 4 Reviews

Kathryn Newton was fantastic in this, I mean I love her in everything so not surprising. I was creeped out by the end 10/10

The succinctness of this franchise pisses me off😭 I appreciate the familiar format along with the new ways they try to get scares. This one didn’t have as creative directing as the 3rd one, but Katherine Newton was great and the violence was so dope. That ending bit had me shook.

Scared the shit out of me

First horror movies I saw and felt in love with this genrr

honestly the kids deserve an oscar cause wth they are AMAZING!
Also the last part never fails to make me hide under my blanket

Whole series was amazing and scary. Fucking jumped a few times.

Really good

9/10 reminds me of my childhood I love this series

It was cool

as usual, glad that it revealed more about the story, but there’s only so much you can do with a similar model

Best horror movies

Very good

Best one

These movies are always just horrifying in some way I don’t know why I give it a 10/10 for horror

I watched this movie with my friends as well and I thought that it was okay but I honestly thought that the first three movies were much better. The scares weren’t as big in this one like the others and we never really had an edge of the seat moment. I’ll give it a 7.4/10

Really good!

Possibly my favorite addition to the PA movie series. Scary and had a decent storyline!

Rated: 4.8/10 ⭐️

I wanted to see if the Kinect camera trick held up. It’s meh; the tech gimmicks are cool, but it loses the scary, slow-burn magic.

What Worked:
• The Kinect tracking dots revealing invisible stuff is a genius idea I really dug.
• Newton gives a super believable performance as a freaked-out teen.
• Katie returning as the weird neighbor adds fun franchise lore.

The Friction:
• The story totally dragged for me, making pacing sluggish until the very end.
• Jumpscares felt super recycled and cheap, relying on loud noises.
• The chaotic ending honestly just left me frustrated instead of scared.

Verdict:
It’s meh. Watch for neat tech gimmicks. Skip if recycled scares bore you.

Good continuation in the series
