The boyfriend is bloody stupid and incredibly annoying. He deserved what happens to him. It’s not scary though it was just infuriating because of the boyfriend. Poor girl had a idiotic boyfriend.

I used to think this was the ultimate horror movie but now it’s just not the same, some good suspense but not really a full blown horror.

I don’t even have the words to describe what I just witnessed, this movie is just straightforward and so amazing. Don’t even get me started on the jump-scares man 😭 I deadass lost my soul like 20 times during this whole thing. Don’t miss out on this beautiful amazing gem movie 💛

So scary it just gets better and better throughout the movie

extremely overhyped, but a pivotal point in found footage history. worth a watch, but i cant say the same for the sequels.

i appreciate the impact it had on the found footage genre but wow is it boring, like it was more entertaining than i thought it was gonna be and even then it was still boring
and micah is SO. insufferable that it can be hard to sit through, RUN katie, you deserve better 😢

such authentic characters for a scary movie

Just watched this alone, in the dark, at midnight. Scared out of my mind but I loved it!!!

Really liked this one. Although it was a slow burner and obviously low budget, i still found it to be scary. What rlly carries this film is the atmosphere and the dread of waiting to see what will happen next. I rlly like horror movies like this. 7/10

rewatched it

A couple tries to document a haunting in their own home with a camera. This was a really enjoyable movie, shot on a $15,000 budget, and clever for it. It's unsettling and pulls you into the plot, even as you get frustrated with the arrogant boyfriend for not reaching out to the specialist. A solid movie for Halloween season.
