The term “underrated” is tossed around a lot, however, this movie qualifies. Phenomenal acting from everyone involved. Incredibly heartwarming, yet surprisingly emotional at times. I never expected to love this movie as much as I did. I can’t seem to stop recommending this to ppl

It was a sad but touching movie and I’m glad we got a happy ending. Every Sam deserves a Palmer in their life to protect them and beat up the homophobic bullies. Wish i had that at his age.

A very well done movie. The acting was great from all of the actors and even though it's a slower movie it was perfectly paced for this film. The story and message is really well done and its a very emotional movie

Pleasantly surprised by this somewhat slow moving but always thoughtful movie that sees and cheers for the hope in humanity. I like how they addressed gender identity without it taking over the narrative and didn’t feel the need to spell everything out for us. Acting was awesome

I love these types of films. Sam deserves to be loved and cared for like every other child. Palmer did good by being the one who stood up.
