Hard to rate, hard to review. I don't think I've ever seen a cult story like this before. Apart from the music, eeriness, and acting, all of which were done brilliantly with a wild amount of enigmatic tension, nothing stood out like the premise. It knows you're expecting the traditional 'escape' style narrative, so seeing certain things play out weirdly felt...weird. Most of the negative reviews seem to miss the sinister conversation 'Opus' calls for. The director wants us, like Ayo, to question what makes a cult. Who? Why? How? Whether it be moderate or extreme, cult behaviour has always been mainstream..."Teach them young and the world will be yours".

i honestly just had fun watching this. so suspenseful and unordinary. it was entertaining but also weirdly insightful. i liked it a lot! and i love ayo's blunt judgement and reaction to everything. it felt like she was really reacting and not just acting.
