Beginning felt dragged out and slow but the one action scene was nice.

Part western frontier, part moral conflict part revenge. It's a wonderful combination of all at a fast enough pace to keep moving yet not feel rushed. An under appreciated piece of acting by Costner for sure with a very young Diego Luna playing a central understated role.

Apologies to Ms Bening and Mr Duvall, but this is one of only two movies I walked out of for being imponderable trash

young diego luna was a pleasant surprise. this was a pretty entertaining western, i really liked the action. the performance from costner wasn’t anything special but everyone else was great.

Classic, worth revisiting 👏

Another great western directed by Kevin Costner. With themes of corruption and western justice, this is a greatly entertaining film with a fantastic third act. Costner, Duvall and Bening are all so good in their roles.

A slow-paced classic style western with a good cast and arguably one of the greatest shootout scenes of all time. This is a lot better than Costner’s earlier directed film “Dances With Wolves”.

Yellowstone Cinematic Universe

a very slow start but the second half was amazing. Robert Duvall is my favorite actor of all time so i knew i was gonna like this film. im indifferent about Kevin Costner as none of his roles really amazed me, but nonetheless solid film. 7/10
