The movie opens on such a high note, with Broadway stars Laura Osnes and Aaron Tveit singing “Winter Wonderland.” Hearing their voices before we even see their characters immediately set a fun, magical tone for the rest of the film.

If I had to pick one negative, it would be Aaron Tveit’s English accent—it just doesn’t quite land for me, though I still love him regardless. Thankfully, that small detail is easy to overlook because there’s so much else to enjoy.

The witty, sarcastic banter between Anna and James is a real highlight. It fits their characters perfectly and makes their relationship engaging right from the start.

The Kentsbury Inn looks like pure postcard perfection, especially once the snow starts falling. Honestly, every scene there made me want to step into that charming world myself.

One of the most delightful surprises is the Queen—silly, warm, and sweet—acting as the perfect contrast to her strait-laced, often grumpy son, Prince James.

I loved the friendship between Mayor Sarah and Anna. Sarah’s budding romance with Christopher was a lovely side story that really complemented the main plot.

Extra points for casting so many Broadway talents! Krystal Joy Brown, who plays Sarah, is incredibly talented, and I appreciated seeing her shine.

The surprise relationship between Diane and Ed was so heartwarming too—another sweet touch.

My favorite line was, “The more women we have in charge, the better.” It’s such a great sentiment.

Watching Anna and James set up for the ball was a definite highlight. Those scenes made me wish I could jump straight into that picturesque world.

I had a feeling Anna must have met the King at some point, and I was thrilled to see that storyline play out as I hoped.

Overall, this is another ending where I’m left wanting more. I wish I could see what happens next for these characters!
