Why and how has this dodged all award show discussions? The acting, casting, costuming, cinematography, directing, scoring, and writing—it's an absolute snub all around. A psychiatrist, a courtroom, and a handful of Nazi officials. Dissecting the complexities of pure evil is a perilously tough task, and the absolute unease in the almost provocative first half underlines why. Whether it be the 1940s or 2020s, the warning signs are frighteningly uncanny, and yet, despite the abhorrent horrors, we still struggle to grasp the lessons history provides. That said, the hypocrisy is stark. If the Nuremberg principles were truly upheld, several figures, past and present, would be facing a noose. "The only clue to what man can do is what man has done."

so much of the cinema surrounding war is either focusing on the battlefront or what was happening back home. there’s never much of a focus on what happens afterwards. as a history undergraduate, this film does exactly what it needs to, absolutely loved it 9/10

Powerful, from the depiction of events to the concluding warning

had some propaganda going on in that movie but it was a great movie about the trials
