This story has always stuck with me since I watched this as a child. My 10th grade world civ teacher played it for our class at my recommendation.

The way he suddenly started beating her was unsettling 🥴 and the daughter. Glad she got out 😮‍💨

While watching it I thanked Atatürk and people died for my country., I great story who told women in Iran’s problem about sexism and injustice going on in there.

The ending was completely anticlimactic but the story is unbelievable. I'm not blind to the kind of propaganda they could be using this movie as but this is based on a true story so I can just say I'm very sorry for all the people that go through this
