A weird movie that has tonal discourse. It feels like it’s a romance movie first, a cooking movie second. I swear the male lead looks like they wanted Owen Wilson but couldn’t get him so they got this guy. A movie with no consistent tone.

how come I hate kids but love men interacting with kids? Anyway, this was a very endearing movie, the romance was well done, the little bit of drama was well done. I liked that they leaned into the grieving aspect of their story and the chemistry between the MCs was delicious

Such a cute movie. Loved the chemistry between everyone. For a rom-com I love how it’s not one dimensional. It focuses on being a chef, a parent, and romance. Loved Eckhart and Zeta-Jones. The romance conflict came a little late, would have liked to see that last a little longer.

I really enjoyed this movie bc it felt v multifaceted. It wasn’t just focused on romance, it also included the protagonist’s career, character dev, & new parenting sitch. I loved the dynamics between all the characters too. A little slow paced but chill & sweet movie overall

So surprised I never heard of this till now! Catherine is so great, I loved her in this role. Super cute, great chemistry, plot was entertaining. Honestly cooking rom coms are my jam. Kinda giving ratatouille romance lol.
