Nightcrawler Reviews

One of the hardest movies to grade. On the one hand, this movie is unique and raw, with a superb acting performance by Jake Gyllenhaal; on the other hand, it’s a tough watch with a very abrupt ending. Definitely not a must see, but I’ll be thinking about this movie for a while

Jake Gyllenhaal is perfect in all his roles in any movie, so what can we expect other than greatness, a magnificence movie that I recommend. 8.5/10

I absolutely love this movie. One of Jake Gyllenhaal’s best performances. His character will do anything to be better and be the best. Great performance

Favorite Character: Lou Bloom

Fucking beautiful depiction of “television media” where the news is created not reported

outstanding piece of art, was on the edge of my seat the whole movie. rip that one guy though.

8.7/10 One of my favorite movies ever because of Jake G. Such an underrated actor and kills every role I’ve seen him in. The writing and acting for this movie were phenomenal. I’ve seen it about 3 or 4 times so of course I’d recommend it to anyone that enjoys a great thriller.

A great thriller that showcases how a actor like Jake gyllenhaal is considered a all time great ( I was awake the whole movie😊)

Watching the Lous psychotic genius was breathtaking. The way he worked the system to benefit him was crazy. The story was amazing, acting was the best I’ve seen in a while, and the shots were as good as Lou’s in the movie. This movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole movie.

I love this movie, and I was no joke laughing at the end because of his behavior

I think its a “good” movie, but its just not something I enjoyed, its very gritty/dark/disturbing

The dude is literally me bro , just an evil badass that can manipulate anyone easily dude

A realistic and grounded portrayal and character study on narcissism and sociopathy. Jake Gyllenhaal's acting is superb.

It was a very insane psychological thriller movie. Watching Lou climb his way from the bottom to the top, using any means necessary was representative of the real life counter parts of billionaires of today using inhumane tactics to stomp and crush anyone in their way. 10/10!!

I was loving it and loving it until literally the last two scenes of the movie. Really? That’s how it ended? Nothing came from that interrogation? Bummer. Also Jake is an amazing actor- he made me believe he is actually crazy

jake gyllenhaal truly never disappoints
