That little boy was so fucking stupid why are you going towards the Omnipresent voice in your swimming pool.

i haven’t even watched this yet but it looks so damn boring like just leave the pool and the house.. it ain’t that hard.

(update!) saw the movie when it came out and it was so bad I wanted to cry

At first I was confused how they can make a whole movie about a pool but man oh man was this clever once you find out what actually is going on

I would rather sit through a lecture on standing in line that sit through this again.

i already can’t swim i think this just cemented the fact i should stay away from water

This movie had zero plot, a poorly executed premise, and to be quite honest I couldn’t care less about the characters. There weren’t any instances where we could feel sympathy for the characters, meaning that it’s hard to be empathetic when something bad happens to them.

I’m not going to sugarcoat it, this movie was awful. I didn’t have high hopes going in based on the premise alone but I still gave it a chance and there weren’t any redeeming qualities really. When you think of bad and annoying horror movie tropes, this movie is a great example

4.4 - Exactly as expected from both Jan horror/ Blumhouse at this point. Better than anticipated from the trailer but isn’t making the waves it should with such a unique premise. Another short film out of its depth stretching to a feature. Condon & Russell keep it afloat.

This is the first horror movie I’ve seen in a long time that I can say was actually unique. Didn’t play on the same old same old slasher or ghost story, had a unique setting, a good cast, and good pacing. Would recommend at least for a first watch. 7.8/10

this was pretty good! The concept scares me a lot, I think a good amount of people have this fear, and to see it brought to life is more terrifying. 7/10

A well-acted and surprisingly effective PG-13 Horror drenched in a pool of tension.

I really enjoyed this movie. It had an interesting story and I also love Blumhouse! I think people are either going to like it or hate it. Not many in the middle!
