My Best Friend's Wedding Reviews

Idk why so many movies in this era have the best friend breaking up the wedding trope but I feel like this is probably the best of the bunch. The ending felt perfect actually 😌

not the biggest fan of this trope but they handled it well in the end & the romcom remembered to com so !!!

was always tilting towards the best friends side and not the girlfriends, maybe i’m the problem

I love this movie so much I watch it when I was struggling to get over a boy that I was friend with and this movie made me realize I had to let him go for the best.But overall it’s just a beautiful movie and Julia Roberts is amazing in it .

a horror movie for everyone involved except the watcher.. i actually cant choose the villain here, either julia roberts or the groom guy.. both are soo strange and made it their life’s mission, it seems, to make this womans wedding a hell on earth. still it was a fun watch and

As always an all time favorite that I got to rewatch tonight with my 19 year old. The best memories while making memories! 👰

God this pissed me off so bad. Jules is lowkey an asshole, actually forget the lowkey she IS an asshole.
And Michael is a part of the assholery too for doing & thinking of allat while literally marrying his fiancee in less than a week.
I hate how it romanticizes the selfishness.

(I just NEED to talk about how Michael took off the ring WITH HIS MOUTH?? and then NOTHING, just absolutely nothing happens and he continues his walk like nothing just happened??😭😭 tbh that scene made me watch this movie lmfaoo)

A very good romantic comedy with a really good story

It kinda left a sour feeling in my stomach bc they didn’t end up together. But realistically it was the healthiest ending for both of them. She was too toxic which made me mad, she had all that time to tell him and waited till he got with someone. I was rooting for his gf tbh.

Me gusto por que es distinta a todas las historias, pues el final 💔 y no es una Romcom o por lo menos no con los protagonistas que uno piensa al verla, igual me rompió un poco el corazón pues quería ver una que se enamoren y todo eso, pero me gusto, potros los 3, ame al personaje

Not predictable, a lot of fun, kinda sad and Julia is gorgeous

This movie is nostalgia for me. From the opening song and routine — classic 👌🏽 — to the script, the songs (how did I not realize this was a musical in 7th grade? 😅), Julia Roberts’ quintessential 90’s wardrobe and Dermot just being a d r e a m. This film checks every box.

This is a sweet movie that works on a lot of levels. It's funny, sad, dramatic and clever.
