My Best Friend's Wedding

Idk why so many movies in this era have the best friend breaking up the wedding trope but I feel like this is probably the best of the bunch. The ending felt perfect actually 😌

not the biggest fan of this trope but they handled it well in the end & the romcom remembered to com so !!!

Please the main character is so annoying, the only good thing is gay Rupert Everett

this entire movie felt like a fever dream, she’s the textbook ‘pick me’ girl

at first i thought julia was the bad guy, but it was really just one more piece of fiction where compulsory monogamy is the real villain.

rupert everett is just the best here tho

ig michael and julianne do deserve each other cuz they’re both terrible people… #freekimmy
