Legend

I love you John Williams, all my homies love John Williams.

cool

Excellent look at John Williams’s prolific career in music, from Army band member to jazz band to TV and finally to the Movie Maestro we all know.

Stephen Spielberg honors his friend John Williams. Legend. Tears.

tells the story of the legend while showcasing each of his biggest tracks

This man has left such a massive impression on me. His music is the soundtrack to my childhood and was a huge reason I fell in love with film.

Loved this documentary! It’s so amazing to see how he talks about music and explains why he came up with certain melodies that he did. It’s also so great seeing how directors and other people he has worked with speak about him. The footage from the Hollywood bowl is so beautiful to see!

What a fascinating, extremely humble & incredibly talented gentleman. I thought I had good knowledge of JW but this doc enlightened me - how long he’s worked in the industry & how far reaching his work is. A list directors & celebs talk about him with reverence & easy to see why.

Adored this.

People know John Williams but I think most people don’t realize what they know is only a fraction. This documentary doesn’t even touch on all his iconic creations. Name a hit movie you love, I bet John Williams is the composer. I knew a lot more about this musical genius than the average person, and I still learned new things about his accomplishments. Being from the Maritimes, I didn’t even know about his roots in St. John! Now I can watch his claim to fame on YT.

Sadly, AI is going to destroy this art form. He’s probably the last of the great human composers, so at least his legacy will live on.

LEGEND

Fun to see behind the curtain look at one of the goats.

8/10

John Williams is and always will be one of if not the best composers of film music ever. This documentary shows exactly that. With his early works more in a jazz style to his later works in Jaws and Star Wars. And his work with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas is just perfect <3

Beautiful documentary of John Williams’ outstanding career. 🐐

Genius.

JOHN WILLIANS is a legend and an inspiration to all!

An awe-inspiring but brisk journey through the prolific filmography of arguably the most emotive Film Composer of all time.
