This is my favorite move of all time and it hits every time. Some of the best writing and plot line I have ever seen with a perfect mix of comedy and drama. It’s quirky and relatable and the acting is great.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Not everyone can relate to it and understand the complexities of each of the characters. Something about is just so perfect and realistic, with the pacing and writing you could really feel that muriel changed.

4/5 - so what if she was a compulsive liar ? she was pretty & australian so i think all crimes can be forgiven

Actually very sad movie which I was not expecting. Lots of sad themes. Wasn’t sure what this movie wanted to be

that was so sad??? i had no clue it was going to be that heavy. but wow. it really blew me away and had me in tears.

Need to rewatch.

Bogan Australiana core, well made film although relatively depressing. Most of the characters are insufferable and the Mum deserved none of them.

A true classic. The twist and turns in Miriel's life feel so real yet distant. You can feel Muriel's desperation on being a good person and how everyone around (except rhonda) only cared when she was rich and famous. It hurts, but it's still a great movie.
