While far from perfect, Mortal Kombat is still bloody fun, with a solid attempt at adapting the game's insane world. A flawless victory but it’s also not a fatality.

Yeah no. The plot was so predictable and boring but i'll give credits to some visual and practical effects.

I appreciate the fact that it's rated R. This movie commits the cardinal sin of centering it around a totally made up character. Why do that when Mortal Kombat has such a huge roster? The shining part was some of the design of characters like Kabal. Overall frustrating.

Love the cgi and gore

The plot is about as existent as the tooth fairy and the character development is weaker than a baby giraffes knees. It does however have some fun kills and many Easter eggs from the video games to watch out for.
In saying all of that, I can’t really believe it got gassed so hard for what it actually is.. (which for the record is very mid tbh)

okay so controversially, i actually enjoyed this movie a lot.

yeah, the fight scenes COULD'VE been more realistic, gravity wise, but when it comes down to the actual FIGHT itself, it was awesome.

rising back from hell to slaughter the man who ended your bloodline is insane

The first and final fight sequences were insane but the acting wasn’t great. I wish the main character was Scorpion and not the random. Also annoyed that I bought a $60 game after watching this the first time lol

Cool special effects & great casting for scorpion and sub zero. But mediocre plot and writing

Not gonna lie I didn’t even watch the full movie.. so I should probably do that before judging.. or?

Despite poor pacing, writing, general story structure, and a constant confused tone the action here is enough to keep your attention. Effects lead the charge but the choreography steals the show. Not ground breaking but when compared to everything else it’s superb. 3/5

Good watch and the gore was more than I was expecting

Booooooring. No plot or aura moments

Very cool movie and got me in the mood to play Mortal Kombat. Plot felt a bit rushed though
