Call me sadistic, but this is the type of gore I live for. Make sure you watch with your youngest children to ensure expedited maturation.

While far from perfect, Mortal Kombat is still bloody fun, with a solid attempt at adapting the game's insane world. A flawless victory but it’s also not a fatality.

The story is surprisingly good written, the protagonist isn’t always the main focus and therefore the movie shows many perspectives at the same time.
