Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round Reviews

I suprisingly enjoyed this nostalgic analog horror. It leaned heavily on Mr. Roger's neighborhood, which took a deep dive into thr pychology of repressed trauma and memory loss. The puppet characters were a near perfect blend of the Muppets and Uncanny Valley. A 10/10, a must see

This is the first time nostalgic horror has just fully worked on me. I think this movie just understands a lot about Mr. Rogers and stuff like peewee and what made them so special. This has so much heart behind it and it’s probably one of the most underrated things I’ve seen

pretty boring, couldnt really finish it because it was so unsuitable for my need for entertainment lol just not my type of movie

2/5

It was ok. I see what they were trying to do but felt very grotesque for no reason and it took forever to get to the point of what happened. And why all of the violence when it didn’t pertain to what actually happened? Just an odd approach but the Mr Rogers approach was cool.

2.3/10

Yo. Can’t lie. Don’t know what the fuck I just watched. But it was chill

I just watched this movie last night with a friend I genuinely expected it to be goofy and cringe horror. This movie was amazing! It didn’t rely on cheap scares and was genuinely disturbing and made me cry. The main actor of this movie is top tier he carried the movie!

A surreal Horror Fantasy trapped in traumatic smatterings of weirdness, boredom, confusion, and a little laughter.

I’m so…. Wow…. 7/10 …. Wow….

9.14.26 - good story. a different type of movie

Not a bad first watch but wouldn’t watch again

interesting movie, very gorey but i did think the concept was compelling 🤨

Meh. A few good practical effects but that’s about it. Do yourself a favor, skip this and watch Me. Crocket.

1st this actor deserves as much hype and glory as Inde Navarrette IMO. His ability to just go for it is awesome!

Absolute chaos and almost an uncanny valley thing here. I loved its insane premise and execution. Yes it has a point, but overall loved it!

it was interesting to see guilt/emotions portrayed this way, def an underrated movie. not super scary but good creepy and gory at times. if u like “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” i don’t see why u wouldn’t like this.
