Got to see the world premiere at SXSW and my now the future looks brighter than ever for cultural storytellers. Hats off to Dev Patel for pulling off the seemingly impossible and looking devilishly handsome doing it.

First off, I’m very impressed with the fact that Dev Patel co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the leading role of this film. I really enjoyed the brutal action scenes and the visceral cinematography, even though it was a little nauseating and hard to see at times

Dev Patel killed it in a great way. If you like John Wick or other revenge films, this is perfect for you. The story behind this getting made and how it was purchased and shelved into Jordan Peele came in and gave it a theatrical release is crazy. Support this film, it’s so good!

Dev Patel deserves so much praise. (Not a popular opinion) I wasn’t a huge fan of the John Wick sequels but could always respect the fight choreography and directing. This movie was like if John Wick had an actual good storyline and his character had depth. Loved it

Wow. Quick hits breakdown:
-Amazing action sequences (there was one in first half that legit had me like 😮 for 15 straight minutes). Some similarities to John wick wrt pace, sophistication, etc
-VERY violent (I audibly went OH!!! A few times)
-Well told story of revenge

As a fan of hyper-violent action, this was definitely worth the 10 bucks and change.
As a not fan of heavy sexual situations, I definitely didn’t enjoy all of this. If India is truly like this, my heart breaks for the people in this environment, but I see what they are going for

very one-note and a good example of how you can always kind of tell when a movie was directed by the same person that stars in it. still, it was cool to see dev patel in this role. had a lot of potential and the trailer looked awesome but movie itself was disappointing.

It was a brilliant film that combines an engaging story, outstanding direction, and spectacular action scenes.

Top 10 movie all time. Dev Patel crushed. Action was incredible. Unique story telling throughout. Highly recommend.

An audacious revenge flick which uses animalistic brutality and visceral cinematography as its strengths.

It was good but the storytelling was pretty sloppy especially at the beginning but it was good for what it was. Just wish it was written in a different way. It was a good and pretty gory action movie overall.

Very strange watch for me it was at 3am and I dozed off a couple times. Did love the action though. I recommend
