Monkey Man

Got to see the world premiere at SXSW and my now the future looks brighter than ever for cultural storytellers. Hats off to Dev Patel for pulling off the seemingly impossible and looking devilishly handsome doing it.

First off, I’m very impressed with the fact that Dev Patel co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the leading role of this film. I really enjoyed the brutal action scenes and the visceral cinematography, even though it was a little nauseating and hard to see at times

Holy Hanuman!!
Monkey Man was insane, adrenaline packed, and beautifully gritty! Give Dev Patel his flowers !!! Some of the shots, OMG

DEV PATELLLLL
im still thinking bout the elevator scene with the knife in his mouth, gods that was sexy as hell...

all horniness aside, it's a sad movie yeah, i really enjoyed the characters in Alphas's temple and Alpha themselves.

a John Wick vibe, not the typical Indian fight scenes, I love the authenticity how the protagonist can't break a window glass, the story was good, the concept was good, the cinematography was great
