Mission: Impossible II

Like most reviews, i would also just give it a meh rating, my preference is that M:i 1 was better than this one (M:i 2), the plot for the first was way more enjoyable/likeable than the second, It’s still watchable though, just find it a little worse.

Overall - 5.5/10

Nowhere near as good as 1. Dumbed down plot. Unnecessary, silly stunts. A bland villain. I recall being excited that John Woo was directing. And slo mo (especially with doves in the shot) is a Woo signature. But he over signatured this one.

Spy Kid Fast and Furious

Tho one feels like a pretty big step backwards for the franchise, with more focus on Tom Cruise’s vanity than the plot.

The second one in the series: This one is overflowing with cheese and over-the-top sequences, but the action sequences are still fun and Tom Cruise’s charisma shines through as always
