I don’t get how Woody Allen kept on making these films where the guy does just the most horrendous things, mainly to women, and then portrays his moral dilemma as a serious thing that audiences should feel bad for… it’s scary how his mind works. Annoyingly, otherwise the script is decent, certainly not his best. I think primarily it’s overlong, going back and forth over the same bit repeatedly & it’s tiresome, the class power thing was again well shown, but I can’t help but feel he has the wrong end of the stick.

gorgeous early 2000’s affluent setting, loved the ambiance of it. the twist really got me! in real life he probably would get away with it in the end because a lot of a**holes do get away with it so realistic ending for sure. very sad for scar jo’s character
