Very slow movie that took a turn I was not prepared for that I probably should not have watched with my parents while visiting them.

A slow paced but well performed and shot film about redemption: A lot of Paul Schrader’s recent work is stuck in that “Man in a Room” idea from his first films and come across rather similar.

For me, it was boring and the ideas were unoriginal. I didn’t get the vibe they were going for.

I absolutely loved this movie. A great character study about redemption and doing the right thing. Great cinematography and Joel Edgerton is great in the lead role

Might be the weirdest sh*t I’ve watched all year.

Really good and so original! Loved the music and cinematography.
