It’s not even good fiction. If you want people to feel any sense of realism, historical or otherwise, don’t have a weird mix of accents, or imply there were somehow dozens of babies born in “O Little Town of Bethlehem” all at the same time.

So ridiculous. 🤣

Just a magnificent movie. ❤️

This is a very fictionalized version of the story but as long as you go in understanding that it’s a well done movie about Mary and the birth of Jesus.

I’m not religious, so I didn’t mind the dramatized take or the inaccuracies. I mainly watched it for Eamon Farren — great choice for Lucifer, even though he had very little screen time. The costumes and cinematography were visually pleasing, and the acting was solid.

Sober, to the point without all the mumbo jumbo in the scriptures. It’s interesting and once again Anthony Hopkins it’s great.
