Idk this movie had me waiting for the big pay off to happen and it never did. I watched solely for Elizabeth Olsen and she was good in her role but I feel like the movie just didn’t give us enough. Kept alluding to the fact that they’d come for her and never did.

I thought it was a decent movie. It kept my attention. I felt like it was kind of a slow burn movie with the flashbacks between the present and the past. The cult reminded me a bit of the Manson family antics. Did not like the “no explanation” ending at all!

2/10 but i love elizabeth Olson

Love this movie, but I’m biased. I love anything with Elizabeth Olsen or Sarah Paulson. Good take on trauma after getting out of a cult.

tense & intriguing. feels like a tale of a true survivor of a cult. fuzzy memories, blackouts, no clear description or explanation of the full extent of what happened in the cult. & a person who escapes will always feel like they're after them.

What a good depiction of what someone who’s gone through somethin like this. Just feel like we could’ve had more details and a better ending to close it out. like they drag her back or she gets therapy

Very slow the entire movie but I liked it

Slow movie, terrible ending, but overall really good. The flash backs to specific moments of what caused her trauma and her lack of understanding in her present time is very well presented.

Elizabeth Olsen’s acting was incredible in this, especially because was on early on in her career. This movie shows the real insights of a cult and what may happen. Definitely recommend but view discretion is advised.

so good. like seriously. one of my favs forever. i loved the back and forth between past and present, and how the moments were always connected through her trauma. INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCES ALL AROUND!!!! elizabeth olsen and sarah paulson? count me in
