Idk this movie had me waiting for the big pay off to happen and it never did. I watched solely for Elizabeth Olsen and she was good in her role but I feel like the movie just didn’t give us enough. Kept alluding to the fact that they’d come for her and never did.

I thought it was a decent movie. It kept my attention. I felt like it was kind of a slow burn movie with the flashbacks between the present and the past. The cult reminded me a bit of the Manson family antics. Did not like the “no explanation” ending at all!

Love this movie, but I’m biased. I love anything with Elizabeth Olsen or Sarah Paulson. Good take on trauma after getting out of a cult.
