Idk this movie had me waiting for the big pay off to happen and it never did. I watched solely for Elizabeth Olsen and she was good in her role but I feel like the movie just didn’t give us enough. Kept alluding to the fact that they’d come for her and never did.

I thought it was a decent movie. It kept my attention. I felt like it was kind of a slow burn movie with the flashbacks between the present and the past. The cult reminded me a bit of the Manson family antics. Did not like the “no explanation” ending at all!

tense & intriguing. feels like a tale of a true survivor of a cult. fuzzy memories, blackouts, no clear description or explanation of the full extent of what happened in the cult. & a person who escapes will always feel like they're after them.

What a good depiction of what someone who’s gone through somethin like this. Just feel like we could’ve had more details and a better ending to close it out. like they drag her back or she gets therapy
