The visuals are iconic and so memorable but the overall story isn’t the strongest, but one cannot deny this is a cult classic!

This is a weird movie. But in a fun Tim Burton kind of way. I’d watch it again,

It was a good watch. I’ve always seen this movie cover on a lot of platforms but never gave it a chance. There were a lot of great actors in this movie which was surprising but definitely a one and done type movie for me. Now I can just say I’ve seen it.

funny at a few rare points, but overall fell flat for me. too many characters to create connection with so nobody to really root for. aliens were funny but behavior inconsistent. a one and done movie. 3/10

I've seen it when I was 6 for the first time and I was TERRIFIED. I had nightmares for months and years later I was still too scared to watch it.
I was an ADULT when I finally rewatched it again and I actually enjoyed it very much (the aliens still made me uncomfortable tho😅)

A crazy old gem. Did NOT know so many popular actors were in this!! And the alien design/CGI was really good for it being pre-2000
