Margin Call

Very realistic depiction of what went on during the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis and specifically the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Kevin Spacey was so good I almost forgot that he did those things to little boys. Joe from Netflix’s “You” is also featured. Good film.

Boring version of the big short

Enjoyable, but not any extrordinary. Fine as motivation for this semester however.

None of the characters are memorable whatsoever, the plot slowly plays out and the tension is never really high, but the dialogue is very well put together and hierarchy of power is very. Inch at the forefront of the story in a good way
