Mad Max 2

This is what I expected the first one to be like. A huge improvement. The post apocalyptic world looked so cool. The story wasn’t as slow this time and kicked in pretty quickly. I loved the aesthetic of this film, the characters were good and the action was pretty cool as well…

A straightforward action/adventure film, filled to the brim with over-the-top chases and stunts.

A solid improvement of the first one. I do think the first one had the score down much better. The score in this one didn't match some of the scenes very well. I also much preferred Toecutter as a villain than Lord Humungus. But the action and story was better for sure.

8/10

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior told a simple story with clear objectives and delivered on the action George Miller has perfected during his long career.
