I quite enjoyed the suspenseful journey of searching for the serial killer. My favorite elements were when the director played with shadows and shifting perspective through the editing of different scenes. Peter Lorre was very eerie as the killer. He just seemed so unhinged.

One of the best films ever made. Great suspense and storytelling with some amazing sound. The ending is also one of the most haunting endings to a film ever.

A groundbreaking “Proto-Noir” from the iconic, Fritz Lang and an incredible performance by Peter Lorre.

The way the story unfolds is really interesting, especially the editing—it adds a unique rhythm that makes the whole film even more engaging.

This is truly a classic, no doubt about it, but for me, I prefer having a lead character to follow or something more interesting to follow in mystery crime thrillers. The ending was pretty intense, and I can definitely see why this was impressive for the 1930s

Anchored by a chilling performance from Peter Lorre & brilliant direction from Fritz Lang, with innovative techniques for 1931. The screenplay & cinematography are excellent, and great sound design & a brilliant plot idea solidify this as an all-timer across the board.

i am a sucker for movies where the director goes all in with his vision of bringing a story to life. the way fritz lang has used props, shadows and angles to shoot the film is highly impressive given this was made in 1931. ending was worth the wait. amazing cinematography. 10/10!

A classic film about morality and what should justice be. Definitely makes you think about what should happen to the antagonist at the end of the film

Film avec des scènes très cool même avec un regard actuel mais beaucoup de scène trop longue qui casse un peu l'intrigue
