it is a beautiful film just so slow. i really liked how charlotte said she tried being a writer but didn’t like what she wrote, and Bob told her to keep writing. it was sweet. Although their relationship is transactional, they offer each other comfort in the midst of being lost

Coulda done without the racist comments. Honestly, I found this kinda boring. Neither of them were interesting enough. Neither of their issues were very compelling. Also, finding out Scarjo was 17 when this was filmed is kinda icky.
