ben stiller gives a dedicated and complex performance as greenberg in a great noah baumbach film full of phenomenally written characters and an interesting storyline. i didn’t need to see that greta gerwig scene

Every time I rewatch i love it more. The film is so incredibly realistic and the characters are so deep and complex. The dynamic between the two seemingly opposite leads is fascinating. Florence’s people pleasing tendencies mixed with Roger’s intense need to push people away.
