I feel this is a very realistic answer to, “what would you do if you were stranded on an island.” I appreciate that this is a required read in school. Both this film and the remake in the 90’s are great.

7.5/10 this traumatized me as a child but honestly it was a good remake of the book

It's a very difficult film to make since most of the contents of the book aren't allowed to be done with child actors, but I feel they did well enough. The middle of the film dragged a little, but once they started the tribe it really picked up quickly.

Its old, and you can deffinetly see that, however its still a good movie, and the social experiment ot depicts is just so cool

Excellent novel and film 💯💯💯

Honestly it was so weird…. We sow this in English class and I had a hard time understanding what was happening. Good movie for the times Ig all the child nudity was weird and I’m quite conflicted about it I’d have too rate it a 2 stars but just due to my confusion through out ⭐️⭐️.

Lord of the Flies 1963 captures the overall story and feel of the novel perfectly. 8/10
