It’s based on the movie Ikiru, which I haven’t seen. It doesn’t bother me, those movies are made in a different times. Which makes it even more beautiful, as it still is, and will be, a topic to have a thought about, and perhaps inspire, to live and give a little more.

An incredible and emotional movie with a beautiful score and a career best performance from Bill Nighy. The themes and story are poignant and the ending is perfect. One of the best remakes of all time

9/10 - A touching view of how life rushes by while focused on one thing and forgetting about your own until it’s faulted upon you to stop and take a breath. Worth a watch, if only to appreciate Nightly’s performance. Nice ending.

7/10 - Nice film, inspiring plot but quite sad. It shows how life can change in a moment, and in the same way, people can.

Very slow. Watch on minimum of 1.25 if don’t want to sleep. Good message tho.

I lost interest in this as it dragged and was just quite flat. Could and should have been so much better.

Lost some steam on the final 3rd, but a really well done ending, albeit an unnecessary love plot

It's ok, but I was expecting something different I guess. The bureaucracy is so frustrating, nobody gives a damn about anything. And after everything is said and done, still nothing changes.
