It was good until the ending in which SPOILER !!!! Laurie and Jo don’t end up together because they were just perfect together and then Laurie marries Amy just so randomly. And the professor is like an old fossil compared to Jo.

I love the music, outfits, and cinematography, they really captured the cozy, homey feeling of the book. I personally prefer the 2019 version, because I feel that they portrayed Jo’s character development better, but still appreciated this movie a lot + winona and christian ☺️

Such a heartwarming movie, very nostalgic, sisters living in the same house, from the same mother yet all of them so uniquely different with their own desires and dreams

Love but the 2017 version is still my favorite

While I do prefer Greta Gerwigs version this version also has its own charms, I like how they focused a bit more on Jo and the professor, because I can now see why JO would choose him over Laurie, i think while Laurie did love her I don’t think he really understood her in the way she wanted him too, the professor sees her passion and not only encourages it but also helps her, another thing that I thoroughly enjoyed was the atmosphere of this movie. I think the aesthetic and cinematography just fit the time period much better than the 2019 version. Something I don’t like is how they didn’t explore Laurie and Amy‘s relationship more making it feel so random and rushed, but from Greta’s version and from what I’ve heard from people who have read the book, they explored their relationship much more and the book really shows how different their relationship is from the one that Laurie had with Jo. Overall, I did really like this version, but definitely not more than the 2019 version, I think the cast is better and it explores more into all the sisters lives rather than just Jo’s.

it's a cute film and id happily rewatch it but i wouldn't say it's very exciting. mind, sometimes it's nicer having a calmer and less dramatic film on so it's lovely to watch. would recommend every single time🫶🏻

My favorite movie right now, it’s amazing it has great characters, great development, it explains so much in a short amount of time in a great way, it is amazing with girl power and jo and me are the same person I’m convinced. This version is the best. People need to watch this.

My favorite character will always be the Marmee, she’s my idol. I enjoyed seeing Jo's pov, good character development.

So classic. Truly, a great film and adaptation of the novel. Everyone must see!
